Updating Supplements
For the October-November 2011 and January-February 2012 exam windows, candidates with the Comprehensive CPA Exam Review, 40th edition or the corresponding version 14 series software will want the Version 40.3 updating supplement. Candidates sitting in the January-February 2012 exam window should check this site for another supplement at the beginning of that window; the editors strongly suggest that candidates check this site at the beginning of each window in which they sit.
Candidates with the Version 40.3 supplement do not need the Version 40.1 or 40.2 supplements.
In January 2011, there were widespread changes in the topics that the examiners test in each of the exam sections. The Version 39.2 updating supplement still is provided so that candidates may get an idea of the extent of these changes. Due to these changes, the editors strongly recommend that candidates with earlier editions of the book or earlier versions of the software obtain new materials.
